Default speed per dollar index "game"..

ok so i got this from a local board. it was pretty interesting to see what everyones index was since we all had different cars..

but since just about everyone in here has a hype R, i just figured we would tweak the it a bit and use how much we paid for our car instead of the msrp when it was new.

and maybe some of you with mods can post up your index #s with the money you invested and everything.

but before we begin, we need to agree on a base HP and weight for the R.

the HP im sure we can all agree on, but ive seen different weight #s.

interesting choices on the chart.

someone should do a write up on the mazdaspeed3 and their driving impressions.

thinking about it, i was unusually harsh on myself converting from £'s to $'s, then it doubles the cost and make it uncomparable to you guys. stoooopido

When I bought my old R from Len:

8666.66

When it was turbo charged:

18666.67 @ 34psi
13333.33 @ 15psi

When built N/A:

7333.33

Simply looking at that chart, once again the R owns all The Bugati looks like a HUGE let down. Guess I'll spend my millions on something else...

The Bugati is simply a ***** mobile. There is nothing "special" about it. Now the Caparo T1-R is special...

480hp (@ 10,500rpm)
1036lbs
$260,000
Gives us 1782 which bests the the Porche 911 Turbo...

Of course this silly equation fails to take into account this car will pull up to 3-g's in all directions (and be street legal in the US)...
