it probally is the window regulator. my was really slow and then when I put a new one in my car it was so much faster. you might just be able to lube them up

i had the same problem on my passenger side. I just sprayed the inside of the moldings with silicon spray and it fixed it.

Either they have too much friction in the channels, or you need a new regulator.

Silicone spray works wonders like stated before.

when you say spray inside the moldings, do you take apart the door panel?

no, just spray inside the track where the window slides up

To speed up your windows just get bigger muscles and move faster Mine really hogs down when there is water on the window. But it does an ok speed when dry. Not as fast as my Drivers side.

Be careful where you spray the silicone spray (just within the tracks), cause if you don't, it can get on the visible window itself and smear around.

It wipes off with rubbing alcohol.

Honda power windows are pretty notorious for this. I replaced the seal around the window in my Civic and I couldn't believe how much faster the window would roll up and down. Definitely try the lube first. You'll probably be amazed at how much better it works.

How did you replace the seals?

It's not just power windows. Manual windows have the same exact problems.

I've never heard of it being the seals though. It's always been said to be a problem with lube, the tracks and the regulator. Sometimes the motors on the power windows eventually give out after having to try so hard for so long too.

Over time the rubber seals around the window wear and lose shape which causes the windows to rub more. I wouldn't have thought until I put a new one in. Once you've taken it apart it becomes a little more clear as to why. I'm sure it would be the same thing for the manual windows. I've just never owned a Honda with manual windows before.

I've taken apart both my power window/door and my boyfriend's manual window/door. The power window on my car had no problem with the seals (and Honda ended up replacing the regulator and the car was fine since then). The car with the manual windows has an issue with the seal, but only because the window popped off track and he wasn't willing to put it back on, so it's been sitting with the seal half in and half out.

Check the parts that usually cause problems:

- Not enough lube on the tracks / bent tracks.
- Bent regulator.
- Dying motor because of resistance caused by the above.

I imagined you've tried lubing the tracks already.

If you can tell something's wrong, replace it. If you can't, bring it somewhere to get it fixed.
