FlowMonster Cats????
Does anybody have one of these? They are really cheap for a 50 state legal high flow cats, and they come in 2.25 2.5 and 3.0 sizes, and only cost like 50 or 60$.No flanges, but thats a pretty cheap fix, does anybody have any input
no flanges kinda suck. if you can weld though that wouldn't be a problem. If you don't have emmisions use open cat. if you cut your flanges off to fit that cat, keep the flanges with a bit of a lip on either side so you can reweld them back on later
Yeah here it is.It looks pretty legit, and for the price its worth checking out.Im getting the 2.5,and my exhaust piping is 60mm,a lil under 2.5,so it should match up pretty close.Im getting the flanges cut off my existing cat and welded onto this 1 for 20$ at local muffler shop.So about 85$ for a 50 state legal high flow cat, well see how it holds up.
It actually looks like the new cherry bomb cats, that cost alot more.

Pretty cheap? You can get a Carsound high flow cat without flanges for $55 shipped to you.
Personally, I would go with the Carsound product since they have an established reputation.
FlowMonster. LOL They are trying to sound like Flow Master. hahaha

You need to watch out for the low $ Magnaflow cats, they don't last like their 93500 series cats. I haven't tried any of their new metallic cats yet.

See and my problem w that is the last 2 cats I have had on my lude are both the same style and construction as the carsound cat,and both had gone to ****,then started leaking out one of the seam welds. The other one has no welds or heat shields to make noise,or leak.So Im probally going to try the flowmonster, even if there name is tacky.
