Well what should we say to such an incomplete and arbitrary question as, "Best Engine swap for 92 prelude?"

"Best" is such a charged, qualitative question that it basically can't be answered without the ensuing answers to the usual posited questions of

What application?
What goals?
What reliability?
What budget?
etc.

And unless people put a little effort into their little questions I am unlikely to give them a reasonable answer.

If he's a freaking DIY fanatic instead of the inept little destitute hoodlum then I would say build a nonVTEC engine out of Accord parts but again without more info about WTF he intends to use it for there's not much point in offering suggestions.

Until he comes up with some real information and a serious request for assistance in choosing a swap then I might suggest a Rolls Royce engine:

His 'Lude wil fly if he has a big enough wing.

I've never seen a radial engine in a Prelude, that might be the best

Well if he is going to do the swap, why use old technology like the RR, just use the latest and greatest..This will get him where he need to go

I think you guys turned him into ash.
But read information on potential swaps there's more than enough info on this forum.
After you know the potential swaps, read information on the engines, things people have done to them, and see which one is nicer on your pocket, and which one works with what you want.
