Someone told me that it is roughly 6 inches for the front lip. Any truth behind that statement? I thought it would be higher than 6 inches.

install your stock ones back on

i'm not sure, raise your coilovers back up or look at some pictures. Not the most accurate but...

^ Are you seriously telling me to install my stock springs/struts just to find out what the stock factory height of an EM1 is?

How about.. no.

I know I measured my neighbor's stock '99-'00 LX sedan and it's bumper was close to 9 inches off the ground. More than I was expecting. It had no lip though.

Does anyone know for sure for a 99-00 Si?

I need to know asap, I searched numerous times, but came up empty handed.

Well, according to that website, the stock clearance is 5.9''. Personally that sounds to low for me. My car is now 5" off the ground (front lip), and it looks significantly lower than a stock Si, not only .9"".

So does anyone know for sure? Anyone have an Si that is on stock suspension, that wouldn't mind measuring for me?

Si's are just so high off the ground. 4x4.

6 inches from the lip sounds close...

motortrend sounds pretty close, but so does ej_type_R 's response. I don't know for sure. Just out of curiosity, why do want to know the exact height?

How much it's lowered really isn't important.

What is important are the static alignment specs, and the remaining damper compression travel.

That is, if you're concerned from a performance standpoint. From an aesthetics standpoint, it still doesn't matter how much it's been lowered. All that matters is that it looks good currently.

^ I know, I am not asking this for performance reasons.

I am just curious how much my car is lowered.

Well, my Si is currently at stock height. I suppose I could go measure for you.

Ground to bottom of front lip 8.5 inches. Bottom of fender cut out to top of stock rim 6.5 inches. Ground to exhaust cut out 13 inches.

^ Thanks so much man.. That's what I was waiting for.

I knew the stock height couldnt be 5.9''. My front lip is 5'' off the ground and it looks WAY lower than stock.

Thanks again man.

Also EM100si, When you said "ground to exhaust cutout", do you mean the exhaust cutout in the bumper, or the actual exhaust?

And do you by any chance have the measurments of the side skirts off the ground form towards both the front and rear?

Cut out in the bumper. I can get the other measurements later.
