Will a Master Cylinder brake booster from a 1996 Honda Civic 2dr DX fit a 1992 LX Sedan that has a VTEC Swap.... ?

The guy who wants to put it into his 1992 LX Sedan said he blew his master cylinder and that he has to replace it...so he wondering if it will fit, im the one selling the 96 dx master cylinder, what should i tell him.

What do the brakes have to do with vtec?

With an LX you'll likely want a brake booster for the LX or the Ex.

I dont think they have anything to do with it, im just giving you the info he gaveme, he states he has a 92 lx with a vtec swap, so whatever that is, is the car he wants to put the 96 dx brake booster into lol...

It will "work" but not bolt in. The studs on the booster are at a different angle, and the lines are different also.

To make it "work" you would need to use the matching cylinder / booster and fab custom lines off the cylinder.

2 things you need to look at:

1: if the holes/lines line up
2. if its the same diameter. EG LX civics are 13/16s
