Default throttle body removal

hey i wanted to get my throttle body bore'd. i was wondering how to take it off the car. can any one instruct me through it? and also is it hard taking off the throttle cable off it? thanks in advance

Ok...start by removing the four main bolts that hold it in. Disconnect all vaccum lines from the top part of your TB. Look right below the TB and there will be a fitv...disconnect that hose but be careful there will be coolant in it. After that look behind the TB and there will be a TPS ... disconnect the tps and there you have it...a free throttle body. You may have to take a small screw driver and pry it away from your manifold but be careful not to *%^$ your gasket up.

Throttle position sensor...it'll be a little black sensor.
To remove the cable turn the throttle by hand and slip the cable out of the side...

I'd recommend removing the 4 nuts holding the TB to the manifold last. And to remove the throttle cable, spin the wheel by hand and just slip the cable out while it's slack
