The hydro coversion we make came about because of the type of CRXs we build. Alot of supercharged CRXs couldn't keep an s1,j1,y1 cable tranny, you name it ,from eating thenselves. Even after trying to build them stronger they would be grinding gears once they had 200-300HP through them, even the guys that granny shifted them had problems.
All this time the civics and integras we built didn't have these problems. We found the newer trannys lasted longer and the internals were much beafy, not to mention the syncronizers were almost twive the size in diameter, and they were double sets on the 2nd 3rd and 4th gear sets. The first conversions we made has been on 3 of the high HP cars we built for local customers so we could keep tabs on them , they all worked with no problems, even on the heavy duty clutches with high psi pressure plates.
The new Hydro conversion is all CNC made and is very easy to install, there is no maintance needed, and it is easy to adjust to the position of engagement needed.
As soon as we get pictures I will post them.
Thanks, John@LHT.

I don't have pics yet, But basically it is a plate which bolts to the tranny with an arm and with a reducer. It has a self lubing bearing and a Hime joint which atatches to the piece comming out of the tranny. It give you full padel travel and also doesn't over stress the tranny. It will work on any B series Hydro tranny. Most of them are on GRS, LS and Type R trannys .
They give you full feel of the clutch and require very little pedal pressure even on the heavy duty clutches.
We tested the first one on some of own CRXs and Civic to find if the would work over a long period of time , which it did, we perfected the design and changed the material and teh are now CNC machined.
The install is very easy, once the tranny is in the car, it will take 15 mins to install the kit and be ready to drive, you do not need to re locate the battery, or have any special air intake. You just need a CRX/Civic or Integra clutch cable and some basic hand tool.We even use honda factory bolts in the kit..
I will post pics when I can. The target price will be under $200 retail.

Are you going to sell the modified tranny mount too? I know when I converted my car to hydro the hardest part was fabricating the engine mount so that the engine would sit correctly. This sounds like a great idea(i'm no longer unique though! My eyes are welling up!).

When I was looking at options to convert to a hydro tranny I examined the Hime joint way but thought it would be a very hard pedal to engage, do you overcome this with the bearing? Also do the clutch still have any fluid, or does it basically convert the tranny to cable actuated using the parts to modify it externally?

We do not sell Mount kits. We have our own mount kits for the cars we build but not for sale without us installing them. There are so many kits out there we can't build a mount for them all.
The Hydro kit does not need fluid, Your cable attatches to one side of it , it goes through a reducer and has an adustable rod which has a fitting that goes to the arm comming out of the tranny. It does have a special bearing in it which is a low friction slef lubing piece, It doesn't take much pedal pressure even on say a ACT street /strip clutch. It is a nice piece, it is all CNC made and is made for Chromoly. It comes powder coated black with Honda bolts .
They should be ready in a couple of weeks, I spoke to the machine company today and the first run will be 50 units, 35 of which are pre- sold.
Ill keep you updated,,,, John@LHT.
