MSD BLASTER QUESTION
Posting for a buddy of mine...can he use a msd blaster 2 for a replacement of msd blaster SS and is there any difference in performance (spark)? Which ones better?

Notice how the Blaster 2/3 lack most of the technical specs that the SS and later coils have listed? Yeah, well, it's hard to tell off of paper.
As multiple posters told you in the other thread you made most of the available ignition upgrades are stupid. The Blaster SS coil, among others, is about equivalent to an OEM coil.
There are a small number of MSD coils that are an "upgrade":

However, their charge (dwell) and discharge times are not what your ECU is programmed for, and if you run an MSD ignition box all it does is molests coil dwell time based off of what the ECU's dwell time is, which is counterproductive exactly like every other piggyback on the market. You buy one of these coils for your Honduh and good luck getting anywhere near the power they are rated at.
Stock coil, homeslice. Quit trying to find silly things to spend your money on when it's ready to be put together and boosted.
