Kumho vs. Falken
yo, i wouldnt compare those two dog...
a better comparison would be the kumho ecsta MT or MX or wuteva, vs. the Azenis...
NOW that's a matchup (i havent heard anything from TRUE owners of the mt/mx, but they r supposed to rival the azenis)

The treadwear on the Kumho's is great and they kick can in the rain, but overall the Azenis will walk all over the Kumho's from a performance aspect. Those are definitely the next tires I'm getting (Azenis).
Can someone post up a site that has the Azenis for a good price? I've been searching for some today and so far I've found them for $252 (all 4 w/o shipping... vulcantire.com). Also, my brother has the Ziex... how do these compare?
comptechgsr, the 2 I've found are the RS and the ST115... from what I've read, I don't think the ST115 are available in 15 or 16, and they're supposed to be better... but don't quote me on this

For those who have the falken azenis..... how long does the tread last w/ normal daily driving and minimal track use? Is it a soft/intermediate/or hard rubber compound? and how does it handle in the rain? IF some one could answer my questions, that will be my deciding factor on my next set of tires...
thanks
thanks
http://www.tires.com has the Azenis' for $280 shipped I believe.
I love my Kumho's...theyre leaps and BOUNDS better than the stock tires. Treadwear is pretty good, grip is excellent in all dry and rain...I'm very happy with the Kumho's, especially at the price.
You people just like the Azenis' because of the tread pattern

Kumho's last longer than Azenies I believe. But I'm getting Azenies myself. lol
I bought my Kumho 712s at the time the Falkens were unavailable and those horrific Michelins were going bald. A couple of guys I know have / had Kumhos so I went what those based on what they said. The Kumhos are leaps and bounds over the Michelins, obviously, but I have yet to get be a set of Falken Azenis. The Falkens may be my next set but its not etched in stone. I think they are both excellent tires in their own right. It all comes down to what you will use them for.

what size tire do you buy for the gsr 15's the saw blades.
the regular 195/15/55 or another size.
What would you guys recommend.
These will be daily driven and tracked also. Also are they loud tires ? How long to they last under normal conditions w/ going to the track maybe 1 once a month.
