Hello!

We upgraded my father's car from an old Geo Prizm to Honda Fit (he likes them small, because parking is at premium).

We have four perfectly good rims with studded winter tires left from the Geo, and trying to sell them. But, it seems, the bolt-pattern was the same on the Geo &mash; 4x10, which means, they can be put on the Fit...

Are they too small (13 inch), or will it work? Thanks!

 

I think 13" wont fit over the front brake rotors, somebody correct me if im wrong...

 

Easiest way to find out is to try

 

Unless you have really weird offset/thin 13's, they won't fit. My 14" VW Snowflakes actually scraped the brake caliper for the first 50 miles or so, so I can't imagine a wheel 1" smaller in diameter would fit. Can't hurt to try though.

I originally wanted to put 14" HX wheels on my Fit but found out the front spokes won't clear the brake calipers without spacers. So I would test any 14" rims before buying them, and I would probably stay away from any 13" rims altogether.

 

Nope they wont work, I tried puttin VW 14" studded snow wheels/tires this winter and they dont clear the brake caliper. So there is know way 13"s will ever fit!
