Hondata, Larger injectors, and tunning: 12.6:1 on 92 octain?
Would it work out? I really want arround 12:1, but I don't want to spend almost $200 more for custom pistons when I can get shelf stock 12.5:1 for ALOT cheeper. With my milled head it would make the compression about 12.59:1.
Will it work? Sure. Will. you get the most power out of it w/o taking timing out at high rpm's b/c of detonation? No, especially during warmer weather. Hondata isn't a "problem sover" for detonation, only tuning. That's not to say you "can't" run this setup, you will just need to pull LOTS of timing out. God help you if you put in 91 by accident...
Hmmmm.... Would I be able to run a decent amount of timing with 12:1?
In any event, get yourself a J&S knockguard.
