cop was a dick to say the least. I was running 53 in a 40, didnt have proof of insurance because the people i got the bike from have to let the title clear the bank. Also got me for not having my endorsment =[. Needless to say I can add $220 to the cost of the bike and a mark on my record just for trying to get the friggin thing in the garage before it rained =[.

 

well if you weren't going 53 in a 40 it probably wouldnt have happened

Let's see you were illegally riding a motorcycle for which you do not even have a license for in the first place. Cops gives you a ticket for said violation and that makes him a dick?

Doesnt sound like the cop was a dick to me. He couldve towed your **** to the impound. In fact id say 80% of cops wouldve impounded your bike.

And that blurb about insurance is bullshit you dont need the title to insure a vehicle all you need is the vin number.

also it sucks to see this forum adopting the holier than tho attitude of the rest of h-t like no one else has ever gone 53 in a 40 gimme a break.

I think you missed the point. No one is saying that we don't break the law, just that you can't bitch when you get caught.

That's what I was sayin... I have no problem with speeding, but if you're gonna speed on a barely registered (if at all) uninsured bike with no license, you can't say the cop is a dick and act all 'woe is me' looking for sympathy. Cowboy up and just pay the fine and move on.

never on a bike, not saying i never speed though, just look out big time for the 5-0

 

V1 + HARD setup from radar roy = awesome. never have a problem knowing when a cop is coming near me unless he doesn't have radar on or is using laser. 90% of cops will be using radar though
