I was thinkin bout getting the type-r rear lip, however, i dont want it to get in the way of my exhaust. does anybody know if the rear lip gets in the way of a large exhaust?...such as an apexi N1

I'm almost positive it does. The N1 has a pretty big canister, much like the
Hi-Power. So you would need to get longer hangers in order for it to clear.

I had the N1 on my car with the C-West rear valence(sp)and it barely cleared.

Any exhuast that is tilted on the DC5 will come every close in hiting with the ITR rear lip.. I have the Tanabe Concept G exhaust and it doesnt hit, but the exhuast doesnt stick out past the lip, thus theres alitle exhuast smoke chillin on my ITR lip..lol

Yeah, the Hi-Power had problems so people had to get longer hangers welded on there

I have a Hi Power exhaust with the type r rear lip. It does not burn the the lip but the clear coat is starting to go. Soot from the exhaust is covering it also.
