DIY 92-93 Lip / Air Dam
My wife damaged the original bumper skin (misjudged the distance to a rock wall) on my 93 LX. After installing a new skin, I cut the lower half of the original bumper cover off, trimmed off the section that extends under the front end leaving just the surface to which the EX lip would mount, turned it over and attached it in the same manner the EX lip would. Had to cut small holes for the center five bolt positions to access the bolts. I'll probably trim the ends to be flush with the center section, just stuck in on last night to see how it looks.

I gotta tell you man... i mean... it doesn't look terrible... but by having the car sitting at OEM height... that looks akward... the "lip" is too big.... how about a little more customizing with some fiberglass and short the height of the lip a little?! I think that would be the way to go! Reminds me of a greddy lip on CD accords....
It is a bit much; I had to cut it that long to get both sides of the bottom opening of the bumper. I probably can't leave it on anyway, it wouldn't survive my wife's driving.
looks good....but would need some more trimming....I think with about a half inch all around trimmed off....and that small trim in the middle connecting the gap cut off would look sick with a 3 1/2 drop!!!!
Im gonna work with this idea.....
