I know a guy that re-used his gsr head bolts when he took off his head to get it shaved. What do u guys think of what he did? I know u are suppose to change then everytime u take the head off, and also change the head gasket? give me some advice of what u thinK!

 

sure you can do that. I've reused my headstuds as did other people I know of. You don't H A V E to get new brand new head studs everytime you take your head off ya know. Same with the headgasket....but if the headgasket hasn't been changed on the motor ...ever...i suggest getting a new one just to start fresh. IMO, getting new headstuds evertime is uncalled for unless there's some deep routed problem with the head sealing.
