auto radiator question

Default auto radiator question

I have a manual car, but im putting in a used auto radiator and the guy said u dont have to loop the bottom...is that tru? ive always looped it

You do NOT have to loop the tranni ports on the radiator.

You do not need to, I did the same thing in my old Integra. Just leave those tubes alone and you'll be ok.

As said above, you do not have to loop it. No fluid flows down through those ports. It's an oil passage that uses the "colder" coolant to chill the transmission oil.
