High Strength Head Studs for D16Y8? ARP does not make them for it
Does anyone know if a company makes them? I am about to do a head gasket change and would kind of like some better head studs to go with the new gasket to keep this from happening again. Anyway, thanks for any help!

Yeah I called ARP directly, and the guy said his notes showed that the ones they make for D16's fit on the ZC only and not the Y8.

There are no ARP head studs for the d16y8. There is only one part number for the single cam motors, and its for the 92-95 sohc. The head studs for the 92-95 will not fit on the 96 and up sohc. The studs are too long for the it. I guess ARP doesnt know that the head studs are different b/t the years. But mean while if you call a shop for head studs for a 96 and up civic they will sell you the 92-95 head studs. The box only says D16 so a lot of people assume its the same for all d16's, however that is not true.

ARP makes them now, I have them in my Y8. This thread is two years old.
