Default Fuel line fitting

Is this ok to use as a fuel line fitting with a braided steel hose?

Are they a low pressure fitting?

Barbed fittings are great for that application

is that a pushlock fitting? it looks like one. Pushlocks need to be used with pushlock hose, which does not have a braided cover that i have seen and has a soft liner that lets the barbs dig in and seal.

I'm not sure if it's a pushlock fitting. here is a pic of the back side

I want to run it to my fuel regulator, I have a ugly grey fuel line I want to get rid of. here is a pic

I just want to make sure i'm not going to burst into flames going down the road lol.

i'd say since you already have the fitting, give it a try and see if it leaks. if it was me i would use stainless hose and hose ends just to be safe.

Looks like a push-lock hose end to me.

DO NOT USE A PUSH LOCK HOSE END UNLESS IT IS SOCKETLESS OR PUSHLOCK HOSE>

i know i did that in caps. braided hose needs braided hose ends. socket less hose needs pushlock / socketless hose ends. we inadvertently used socketless hose with regular braided hose ends and they popped out.

plus i dont think it is legal at a sanctioned track.

you can see how they are supposed to look. pay no attention to the couplers, it is now welded, and will be polished as soon as the bottom is done. i have another pic somewhere of just the reg, but cant find it.

it really looks like a push lock. i bet you better be careful and use a fuel fitting that is intended for braided hose . i also suggest to use little vaseline for twisting

That's a push lock fitting and needs to be used with push lock hose. Do not use stainless steel hose or the pro lite hose.

You can use that for a fuel line with out any problems.
