OK guys,

Since the NE crew is going to be further west of the MD, DC, VA area, we are going to have our caravan down to VIR. I'd like to see who is game for this. I'm thinking of taking the Route 29 route to VIR. Post up who is going to be in on this.

Victor, we will be leaving the Myrtle Beach area on Sunday. I don't know what route we're taking, but do not mind a detour to meet up.

 

Victor, I know me and steve will be leaving mid day on sunday and trailering down. I think a few others may be trailering too but dont remember who he said.

My dad is driving and this is his first time with the new trailer. We shouldnt hold anyone up though.

Im sure Steve will be fast enough, have you seen the size of his new truck lol! Plus both him and my father can pull out badges in case of trouble

Why wont the track let us in before 1730? I wanted to leave around noon time....

 

i'd be down for this...although i'll be towing the R with my parents MINIVAN. so as long as there arent many big hills i think i'll be ok.

 

Shouldnt this take bout 4-5 hours anyways? If we leave at noon, we should arrive as theyre opening up. Do we have a set location and time to meet up?

 

Vintage race on Sunday, no one gets in until they're done unless they buy a ticket (apparently $15). I'd assume we'd all be meeting AT the track, though Davis is right, we won't get there until 4:30-5:30 anyway, leaving around noon.

Victor, do you have a place down in NoVA you want to meet up? We B'more boys roll down 495 -&gt; 66 -&gt; 29.

Oh, I dont mind paying the 15 bucks to get in whenever we arrive. I think the last time I went to VIR it took around 3 hours.

........ i don't suppose the NE crew couldn't detour a bit to try and make a bigger caravan. Lets take a look at the routes, shall we?

I'll be heading down through Central PA via 15, around Harrisburg, then around B-mo.

 

Len - Ya, we can meet up along the way, that shouldn't be a problem!

Jim - Taking I-95 through Richmond would be quicker for me too. But who wants to drive through Richmond?

Adam - As for a meeting place, how about Fair Oaks Mall right off of 66?

Aaron - Rt. 29 shouldn't be bad of a drive trailering. Maybe Steve could chime in on that.

 

personal opinion 29 sucks, but if that's what everyone wants to take it works for me

 

Everyone make sure to do a formation around Victor so everyones swag he is delivering at Expo stays safe.
