He wasn't being a dick. He's being truthful.
You have to modify your rear panels and compromise the integrity of the rear seatbelts to put a C-Pillar bar in a sedan/coupe. They have a rear metal deck, rendering the C-Pillar bar useless.

If you put it on your front seatbelt bolts ... it wouldn't be a c pillar bar anymore.

Why did you even bother to blow the money when you are clueless as to the purpose of this piece? Do you have any idea what it does?
Are you really that big of a sucker as to buy crap without even knowing what it is?

It's pretty much worthless because you can't seat people in the rear seats (eg turns your coupe or sedan into a convertible.. It goes right in the crease of the rear seat (on the bottom, where the seat goes from the bottom to vertical, right at the 90 degree mark).. From one end to the other.</TD></TR></TABLE>
What are you talking about? It doesn't go at the bottom. It ties the C-Pillar (third pillar) at the seatbelt bolts on the TOP. For a hatchback (what they are intended for), they serve the purpose of strengthening the rear chassis due to the absence of a fixed rear deck.
I'm tired of seeing you give advice when you have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

How about how you like to say (to any thread which doesn't belong in "Honda Civic/Del Sol (1992 - 2000)") that the thread should have been posted in A/C? Like once when you said a gas mileage thread should be in A/C. LOL
I wish I could post some links that I remembered right offhand because Eran and I have had quite the laugh over some of your posts.
You must have missed my reply here too.

I'm happy to make your day, but if a thread doesn't have technical content in it, it really should be moved to A/C or General Discussion.. This also means technical question threads that have already been answered thoroughly and the rest is just "non-tech".
Like this one of yours for starters:
When I bought my car I removed the center armrest and found a bunch of dust, dirt, really dried french fries and Hershey Kisses' wrappers.

But a thread about GAS MILEAGE does NOT belong in Appearance/Cosmetic.
And what's that about one of my posts? So my car was like that used... um... so?
Edit: found that thread. And I was replying to someone else about finding crap in a car. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1974980
What I'm saying is you give POOR technical advice. You say you work on cars all the time that you're not at school or work. Well, guess what? It doesn't show.
And you going on about it and then saying we should cut it out... cute. Maybe you could have PMed that to me?
