I couldn't find the answer I was looking for, so I'm asking here.

I got an offer for the lowering springs for a 98 Civic EX, and I have a 98 Integra Sedan.

I'm wondering how the rates will change. Will it drop my car even lower? Will it be higher?

Will the performance suffer with these?

quickest way to find out is to just call the manufacturer of the springs. I know the 94+ teg and the older civics were the same. was it 92-95. Dont know about the 98. Been out the game way too long. I am sure someone here will know but... theres something for ya.

92-00 Civic and 94-01 Integra springs will interchange, but Civic rates are generally lower than Integra rates.

Exactly, so the car will feel slightly "looser" because of the softer springs. And it will also be lower, but nothing too noticeable.

 

I did the exact opposite of what you are asking, I'm using Integra springs on my Civic. The Integra spring rates are a bit higher than the Civics, since they are dealing with more weight. Using Civic springs on a 'teg will work fine, but the spring rates will be a little lower than they would be with Integra springs.

 

i used ek springs/struts on a integra sedan and worked fine...sat a lil low in front tho
