High pitch noise (squeeky) when fan is running. Fixable or need I replace whole unit? Anyone else with similar probs? Thanks.

 

might just be something stuck in the fan blower cage, pretty easy to drop it out and look. but if you find no problem there, it isn't really worth the effort to take the motor all apart and lube the oil impregnated bushings.

 

I had the same problem
Something was in the motor blower
You have to take the pasenger panel out
(see description on how to change the cabin filter)
and in the right corner there is a motor
You need to unscrew 3 screws (one way back)
and the motor will slide down

cool so what was wrong with your motor? was there somthing stuck there, did you fix the problem?
