OBX LSD Specs?
I just bought ten new bolts for my diff, but what are the torque specs for these bolts? And do I need to retorque the allen key bolts that sit on the LSD itself? I've read the thead on field stripping, but I'm not too interested in breaking down the entire LSD, as something always goes wrong when I get over my head.
So I just need the torque specs for the H22 diff bolts, and need to know what's up with the bolts on the OBX LSD itself.
Thanks,
Bob

there is a huge thread in the forced induction forum about taking it apart and rechecking everything. you might find the torque specs in that thread somewhere.
I found the diff bolt torque spec which is 74 lb/ft. But I still need to know what to torque the actual bolts on the LSD itself. Do I need to disassemble this thing to reposition the washers or is it just a ticky tack preference?
35 to 40 ft lbs according to the lsd thread on the torque recommended on those bolts. also order new washers and bolts are recommended on installing the obx lsd all info is in that thread read before you install or you are almost garenteed to break. I'm going to buy one and do this on my daily driver soon.
