need some opinions on headers
R1? DC Sports JDM 4-1 ceramic... The TypeOne is a beautiful header as well.... If you can budget it, I'd suggest you forget about the header and go with a turbo.

I have to defend the N/A guys...
The cheapest, most cheaply made header JDM-wise is the DC JDM Header. I went with the OEM JDM 4-1 Header, but if you are planning on getting a header, get one w/ a 2.5" collector. Or yes, if the money permits, go with those damn whooshing turbine things.

i have an r1 4-1 header, iguess its suppose to be a replica of the mugen header and there a big company in japan and not really over here, but anyways i felt good improvment in mid power and high end my gsr feels a lot more powerful. r1
I have a DC 4-2-1 2-piece and like it. I can't say that I've tried the other headers out there though. I'd like to see "the great header test" or whatever it was with more common headers and on a more common car (like a LS or GS-R, not a Type-R).
i agree with you ... they should have a header test to see which one is better for the money .... it seems that everyone now a days have dc sports and doesn't really dislike it .. so i guess that it stands up for its name ... thanx again guys ...
I can't agree with you more on that one. Comptech 4-2-1 all the way, and you can't be being stainless steel. If you really have the money get the catback as well from Comptech. The sound with the full exhaust is GRRRRRR8!!!!
