The JRSC is a tight squeeze in a 5th gen with an H22 right?
I suppose it will take some custom work, and it will fit if you put an H23 in a 5th gen..
Answers please.

I don't see why any custom work would have to be done unless it involves the pulley. The H23A is externally the same and internally different via longer stroke/shorter rods.
It should make for a sick torque curve as the H23's are known for that......
You may want to send the JRSC in for some TLC before you slap it on there...

If you decide to go through with it, keep us all updated. This sounds like it will be one mean set-up. Best of luck

I dont see why the JRSC wouldnt work in the H23A. its the same head as the H22. I'd sent it to Endyn to get it reworked/ported

Actually its an Accord SiR Wagon motor. The EuroR is an H22A much like the TypeS.
Stop typing so fast!

I see no reason the JSRC wouldn't fit on a nonVTEC H23A1...

BTW, im going to use a euro-r tranny for the H23A blue top since it comes with a auto tranny. will the shorter gear ratio hurt the SC or help it?

one more thing, dont mean to kill it for those that want to see the results but dis is a big LONG project. i have to take it 1 step at a time b/c of 2 reasons; get it right the first time and $$$$$$$ issues. i wasn't feed with a silver spoon

Not sure if the shorter gears would be a great idea with the SC. I would rather spend the money elsewhere and have a little longer of a gear to Boost through.
