Bent/cracked rim #2






2 rims are pretty mint besides scratches and the other 2 are not so minty. I called a shop in renton and they said its fixable but I just picked up a diff set of wheels so Im too lazy to fix these.

$100 and im fairly firm since these are around $175 per rim new w/out tires.

http://www.dependablewheel.com and yee (kidsafe yee) referred me. any rim is fixable, they have pricing for whatever. ill try to find the email and post it for you about the inquire.

Ok after searching through about 1000 emails i found it with my superhuman finding abilities.

This is what they emailed me back.

Truong
It costs $85.00 each to Straighten 15" rims, plus the Tires must come off
to do the work, that runs $20 - $25.00 to Dismount, Mount and ReBalance
each tire. Also, anytime metal is being worked there is always a chance
that it could crack, if this happens then there would be an additional
charge of $35.00 to Weld. Tim Foster

so it should cost $85 for one wheel and $120 for the other rim. There is no tires on the rims so no need to pay for dismount.

So unless you have hookups, it will cost you approx. $100+$85+$120= $305 for a set of buddy clubs which is a pretty decent price considering rota's are like $500 w/ out tires.

So BUY BUY BUY

Thanks for the bump... Im always driving around the area looking for free parking, especially on campus in the evening.

Let me know if you have any special parking hide outs on campus where no parking patrols check
