civic key stuck in accord
Long story, but someone i know but my civics key in my accord, and check this it went in and turn the car on. However, the key is now stuck in my accord. Has this ever happen to anyone and whats the best way to get the key out with out ruining my car?
well...
1. make sure not to lock the car. unless you have a back up key
2. your going to have to pull the steering column apart to get the ignition switch out. you might end up having to replace it.
3. how in the ...... did it start the car. lol.....this is new one to me.

yeah its also been proven that both civics and accords have the highest recorded theft rate.
due to this problem right here that the original OP stated........civic keys can start accords and vice versa.

Try different things, like spraying a little WD-40 in there. Wigglying the car key while trying to pull out. Turning the steering wheel a bit, while pulling the key.
Another option is to buy a key extractor from a website that sells lockpicks. Never actually needed to try it, but I have the tool and I don't see how it could fail. The key does have to be broken off though I believe... A locksmith could have achieved the same I'm sure for less than $400...
