Default Half'Shafts Good or Bad ?

How can you check if your Half'Shafts are still in good condition without tearing down tranny and taking them out?
Problem:
Just installed turbo (more HP and Torque) I took it down to the track and was wheel hopping like crazy. I noticed a knock in the lower suspension everytime i changed movement from stop/forward/backward. After being at the track a front support arm leading from the front of the car to the tire snapped. Completely ripped off before the joint/bolt. I am going to replace both side and make them stronger but how to i check the halfshafts to make sure they are still ok.

based on your avatar, and the description, it sounds like you have a CRX with a broken radius rod. That alone will make it wheel hop like crazy. There is very little controlling the movement of the wheel front to back in relation to the wheel well. Once you get a new radius rod in there, it will be a lot better. Just get a stock one and some new bushings for them and you'll be set.
