Budget Helmets: KBC versus HJC (versus others?)

Budget Helmets: KBC versus HJC (versus others?)
So I'm looking for a low budget 2nd helmet as my Shoei TZ is pissing me off with how it fits on my head (plus it's all scratched up).
Anyone have experience with these 2 vendors and how they stack up against each other? I was looking at the top of the line, AC12 for HJC and VR? for KBC.
Already read all the reviews online and looks like HJC has the edge in quality. Any other input appreciated!!

I have an HJC CL-15 as well and I think it's a great helemt. Comfortable, low wind noise, relatively light, and you can't beat the price ($115).

Icon mainframe, parts unlimited / canada had them on dealer special for awhile for check your local dealers for prices on them. There both snell and dot approved. Decent weight, comfortable, and not to noisey.

I've read a lot of good things from Scorpion. I have an older model HJC and I'm just sick of it. Fogs up easily, noisy, etc... I'll probably end up getting a Shoei but I'm also considering a Scorpion, depending on how much cash I have when I decide to upgrade.
