H22a4 Complete Rebuild
I'm currently in the market for an H22a4 motor and I'm going from top to bottom with everything and anything I can do to it. Currently deployed to Iraq, I'm raking in some good money and feel like spending for a good cause. I'm wondering if anyone knows of some places in South Central PA that would be able to bore and port/polish. Any ideas?
be sure that when you go to get the blocked bored, get it done correctly.
remember that the h22a4 has the reinforced fiber walls and require a different stone and method of boring.

I'm in the Central PA area as well and don't know of many machine shops with a good reputation for sleeving frm blocks.
Your best bet is to mail it off somewhere, instead of trying to find someone local. Search for good shops, plenty of people have recommended shops.

Justice Racing Engines is pretty reputable, they are going to do sleeves and pistons for my block in about a week. They are located in Maryland, so it is not too far from you. 301-624-1000. Just don't steal my shop time haha. Give them a call, should be around $250 I think.
Theres always Darton in Indiana...I still have an issue with Regualr Machine Shops doing Honda sleeve work unless they have done many.
Sending your head out will probably end up being the best bet...
