As you can see they are split 60/40, like all 96-00 Civic Coupes, but I wasn't aware of any CTR/ITR seats that split 60/40.

those look like rewrapped seats to me. Might not even be from a Honda. Might be DC5-R but i dont know

My guess would be that they aren't reupholstered due to the semi-poor fitment. Notice the gap between the top and bottom sections.

 

Might be, but I've seen some pretty shoddy swaps integra seats into a civic and what not (not that one specifically but same kinda swap)

 

I can't find a rear seat like that with a 60/40 split. They're not EP3 seats or DC5 seats as far as I can tell...hmm...

 

I actually emailed the guy that owns the car, but he has yet to respond. Bump, b/c I really wanna know where these came from.

I guess you could take db8 (4 door ITR) seats and take the cloth off and recover the Civic seats with them and just stitch up the rest.

Refer above, they can't just be bb8 seats... they don't split in the middle.

that doesnt mean theyre not reupholstered... the guy probably didnt put the seats in right...who knows...just ask the dude..

 

Why is the stitching on the bottom centred with eachother but the back part of the seat the stitching is off??? From the angle the picture is taken it looks as though the passanger side stitching is right at the split, shouldnt it be maybe an inch or 2 towards the middle? The driver side looks normal......(asssuming of course this is a LHD vehicle.)

Nope, those are 2 door ITR seats or CTR seats. They split 50/50. Stock 96-00 Civic Coupe seats split 60/40, just like the seats in the original picture.

At this point I'm convinced that he recovered his original Civic seats with DB8 ITR covers and modified them to fit.

 

there stock seats just rewrapped some shop/person paid very close attention to detail to match them............... just look at the seats u can tell there stock civic seats nd not even close to itr or ctr

I guess I was just hoping that someone would come in and say, "oh yeah, those are the **dm (edm, jdm, audm, etc...) version."

I would believe first that those are db8 skins over stock civic seats before I would believe that someone would go out and pay someone to rewrap Civic seats in all new suede and tweed (or whatever the other material is).
