This makes me angry everyday. My window is auto, the sunroof is auto, but i have to HOLD the passenger window? screw that. I want to know how hard it would be to install the auto switch/relay into my door for the passenger window... surely it cant be that hard.

 

Either install a relay
or get a GF to do it.

 

correct me if im wrong but wont you need the "auto" switch from the drivers side as well to click down to hold power?

 

The driver side switch has two functions, you can feel it when you press it down... The first acts as a normal momentary switch, the second is most likely attached to a relay...

Are you kidding me? It fits into what this car is. Its not a luxury car. Its a sports compact. I'm sure if they wanted to they would of put electronic seats, and automatic windows, and automatic this and that, and heated seats like in the Accord, but its a Civic SI. If I wanted a "Boss" style I'd buy an Aston Marti or a Maserati, not a BMW.

same with my 67 DeVille....... stole that for 4 grand.

You're right, that IS amazing... but for the extra $59,000 I could have two Si's pushing over 500hp with auto up windows, push button crank... hell i could probably make one talk for $59,000.... or just pay someone to climb into my dash and talk for a whole year.

on my old 2000 328i you can have all windows including the moon roof open or close by turning the key in the door or holding down a button on the keyless entry. if anyone can make my si do that, please post. it just looks smooth as hell on a hot day to walk toward your ride while it opes up to let out all the heat.
