K20 Swap
I am having trouble with a customers K20 swap in his 04 ex coupe. The thing is I need to get the rsx ecu flashed to accpect the civics key code and I called the Honda dealer and they told me to call Acura. So I called Acura and they told me that they can't do it at all. Have any of you experienced this problem with the dealers and what did you do to solve the problem? Thanks
Yea we found another dealer about thirty minutes away and got them to do the re-program for me. I asked a friend of mine and he recomended me to that dealer i took the car to. But I just got it back and we are currently tuning it with the HKS F-CON and it runs so goooood so far. I will keep you guys posted about the numbers we get out of the car. The current setup is Random tech cat, 2.5" custom stainless exhaust with a ebay muffler the customer bought and a Vibrant resonator, and a AEM short ram intake. Can't wait to see what it makes. Yea the gold box! So far last night we got 194 hp and around 143 tq on our Dyno Dynamics. Another question i have is for the A/C? The EX compressor has a three wire connector and the RSX has a one wire connector. What do we do about that? I know that the one wire applys voltage to the clutch. Does hasport have a wiring harness conversion for this? Also were do you normally set VTEC on these engines? What about the redline? Our vtec is engaging at around 5800 on the dynos read out and in the F-CON.
