noob with new civic needs help
I just bought a 2002 civic ex 4dr, and need some help on what kind of maintenance should be done with the car.
I swapped out my stock spark plugs for NGKs. I changed the oil to full synthetic, and flushed the radiator. what should else should i have done. I dont know whot he previous owner was and I got the car with 70000 miles on it. thanks for any help you can give. i know it might be a rediculous question, but hey ive had crappy american cars before and want to actually take care of this one.

Hope you used "Honda" coolant. You should be okay for the most part. Honda's don't require much in the way of maintenance, despite what the morons on this forum who take their cars to the dealer for service might say. I would say at your mileage you may want to flush the brake, clutch system. Also tranny fluid, use OEM Honda.
Regular oil changes, filters (air, oil) Timing belt, water pump, tensioner bearing at around 90-100k, valve adjustment every 30k you should be golden.
I have 180k on my 01 ex, I have a 92 Prelude w/ 200k
Good luck.
