Yeah right, Honda recommends like 7,500 miles with conventional dino oil. I never go by them unless it's timing belt.
Oil - 3,000 miles
Spark plugs - 10k
Ignition wires - 30k
Transmission fluid - 10k
Timing belt - 80k
Water pump - 80k

people carry such strong opinions with different answers that youre not going to get a straight forward answer posting here.

this is what i tend to think makes the most sense personally.
have zimbrick or someone do it for ya though, they really do good work.

Re: (JV)
I did mine at about 1800 last time, but that was after 4 months (and one track day) of driving. I don't do a lot of miles, but I do short trips every day

6000-6500 on mobil 1, synthetic with supertech oversized 3950 filter. Been doing that for over 50k miles on my gsr motor, and the motor loves it.

i go 2,500 before changing oil... i drive my car pretty hard and in lots of stop and go california 91 traffic... at about 3,000 miles i have no more oil in the engine... so to be safe i just change it every 2,500 miles...

When I worked very briefly as a salesman for Honda, we were told that "normal" driving does not exist anywhere on the planet. So, unless you have found a magical place with no stoplights, hills, and stays a perfect 70 degrees year-round; go with every 3k

Are you guys sure? EVERY time I go to Honda to pick up my oil filters or any other part I need the chart does say 7,500 miles for an oil change with a new oil filter. Even my Chilton's says that aswell.
