Timing belt replacement
It's time for me to do the timing belt on my Honda (2000 Accord EX 4-cyl). I'm also going to replace: Balance shaft belt, Timing belt tensioner, Water pump. I'm wondering where I can find a detailed manual/guide to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
This may not be your exact engine, but it should give you an idea what's involved. Good luck Link below

It's not the same engine but it will show you the main points of doing the job. I believe the only differences you'll see are in the alignment marks. The process should be the same, same torque specs and such as well.
I would also think about buying a service manual from Helm Inc.. It's pricey but it's more than worth it, it'll pay for itself in the money you'll save by doing this job yourself.

you could try finding your ACCORD factory manual on ebay.. i paid mine (98-99) for 50$ plus 25$ (us) for shipping to canada. I have a 2001, but all mechanics/suspension is the same. only wiring differs, and slightly..
just an FYI:
the Helm service manual is the exact same as the factory service manual.
and be careful buying manuals from eBay. Make sure they aren't some stupid CD or something like that.

^true about the ebay thing
isnt Helm the smaller ones kinda aftermarket books? Or maybe it's the Haynes..
What i have is a 1386 pages (photocopy) of a HONDA MOTOR CO.LTD. "Service Publications Office" manual..The same stuff we had at mechanic school, i really enjoy it.
I had an Haynes manual for my 94EXR and didnt like it, lacked info..ALOT of info lol.

no, my Helm service manual for a 95 Accord is something like 1500 pages (can't remember the exact page count). The Haynes and Chiltons are the cheaper manuals that aren't very detailed in comparison to the factory/Helm manual.
So you paid $75 for one of those copied manuals? For just a little more (~$75 + shipping) you could have bought the real thing from Helm Inc.
