i have a 92 dx hatch and the master cylinder went bad. i am swapping to rear disc and bigger front brakes soon. my question is can i use a itr 1 inch master with my brake booster or do i have to swap with a itr booster, and also will i have problems with the stock brakes and bigger MC for the time being.
To avoid the whole "bending & flaring & purhasing boosters" issue, simply get the 90-91 Civic EX 4dr master cylinder. It's the correct size (15/16") for all integra brake calipers (even type-R), and is a direct fit for your existing booster & hard lines.
Make sure you buy a NEW one directly from a Honda dealership or online OEM parts dealer (hondapartsdeals.com or SLHondaParts.com). If you try to get one from a place like Autozone, it's gonna be WAY more hassle than it's worth. They ALWAYS mix up these parts MCs (they look identical) and usually have the wrong size listed for the 90-91 EX when it comes to this particular part. This master cylinder ONLY comes on the 90-91 Civic EX 4dr, so don't be fooled...
