Stupid question
OK, I have a stupid question, I guess Im just tired!
Referring to wheels (again!) I have OEM five spoke 16's on my '07 Royal Blue Pearl Civic Coupe now. I want to change wheels. What the heck would be wrong with staying with 16" wheels and going with a black or bronze in color? I wonder just why I would need to go up to 17"s? Can anyone lead me down this path?

Yeah, thats kinda what I figured. It does help with the look. Its just that the wheels are cheaper, like for Flik's in black. 16" are like 89.00 and 17's are quite a bit higher. And tires too are cheaper in 16"s.
This way a poor military guy can get tires now and the wheels later!
Anybody good with Kumho Ecsta SPT's or MX's or Falken's? Which is best?
Some say Kumhos some say Falkens. I know you all have tried em all. I want a good dry and wet tire. Im in Missouri but in the winter they keep stuff pretty clean here on the roads.

So, what about it everybody?
Tires are a little different to survey than wheels. Give me some input on some
205/55-16's I drive on dry, wet and light winter roads, and Im an agressive driver.

toyo proxes 4 dont no about the light winter conditions though. i only drove in a little bit of snow with them and they did alright, but i prefer my studs. I have them on my other car and they make that car stick to the road better then the SI. Nittos suck donkey ***** in anything but dry weather. Thats what i've heard, not from personal experiance
I drove through the Syskus (not sure about spelling) mountain range with snow on the ground and more falling, with my Toyo proxes 4's and I did not move on the road unless I wanted to. I was doing the speed limit also.
best bang for the buck, Yokohama AVS ES100's.
Grip: A+ in my book. as for wet traction/performance they did well for me. (i drive fairly conservative in the winter, no racing or spirited driving).
