As long as the head flows well, I do not see any company's machine work being more beneficial than another's. As for the valve-train components, and cams I do not see any major flaws in any company's design- Skunk2 Pro3 cams are monstrous camshafts, possibly the nastiest on the market... they ought to be more than enough for any all-motor setup assuming the compression, displacement and supporting mods are squared away in advance.

The B block could see 10 k. costs money tho. From what i read about the skunk 2 pro 3 cam, it's for race apps only the profile is so burly. You might want to consider a dart block instead of a sleeved block. much stronger

na the sleeves are rated to 70psi.... and i know a gsr will turn 12500 bc my old one did ... but a ls has a longer stroke and so idont know if its safe to twist it as far...plus a dart block is not street friendly from wat ive read... runs hot... and is a waste of money for my build...

I had crower 404 cams and I loved them. A beefy cam but still able to drive on the street.

This has potential to be one of the best tech threads posted in this forum in many years.
Too bad most of the people who could help you hang out in All Motor.

I must agree with you on some things... namely that it is your car, and if others do not like it oh, well. I stand by my previous post.
