Default automatic p13 ecu problem

So I did a h22 swap (94 ex auto) and I still needed a p13 ecu. 2 weeks ago a guy was trying to sell me his auto ecu for like $200, we put it in before I purchased it and it didn't work. I think the car didn't start at all, so I tried looking for one on ebay. I found one on ebay, got it and tried it. The car started but when it would go to idle the engine would just shut off. Also my mechanic said something like the engine would also misfire. Is there something wrong with the swap or is this ecu also bad? Also if I can't get ahold of an auto p13 what other ecu's could I use for my accord?

Thx.

The guy said I could return it for a refund. But I'm just checking to see if something else may be wrong with my situation.

Also I forgot to mention that I still have the accord tcu. Could the problem be that I need the lude ecu?

Anyone else have any ideas? I read on another thread that some keys are 'married' to the ecu's. Could this be the problem? If it were the case would the car even start at all?

that is the immobilizer those are in obd2 97+ p13's

you need a jdm h22 autp p13 ecu and tcm, then pay under the table every 2 yrs to pass smog.

make sure the plugs match up, some of the jdm plugs are wierd

you can also use the P0F SIR h22 auto ecu

tcu is gonna be hard to find, the accord one should work but it will shift at the wrong points. thats why its best to get a complete swap with the tranny, ecu/tcu and harness
