Working on my buddies car and the halfshafts are acting up. If your spinning the p/s halfshaft... is the intermediate and d/s shaft supposed to spin as well? Plase respond and let me know we are lost!!!!!

with the tranny in neutral they should not spin together?

 

no when its in neutral it should not spin unless you have a tranny with a spool or welded diff.

 

ok i should better explain the problem. while we are driving we cant go over 10-15mph bc there is a loud rolling knocking noise coming frome the halfshafts!!!! we have taken the wheels off an pulled everything out but we cant figure out what is going on everything looks fine!!!! HELP

 

did you just put the swap in? did you check the axle lengths? are they popping out the tranny? might just be bad axles
