96 intake the same for a 4cyl or 6cyl?
I need an intake factory or stock for my 96 accord V6....I'm assuming they are different but some auctions I've seen on ebay says they fit either?
they are different. However if they are selling Short Ram Intakes the intake may apply to many different models. Which is true in the case of accords v6 or 4cyl.
cold air intakes and stock intakes wont be the same

But the only thing against that is I know the engine bays are longer on the v6's</TD></TR></TABLE>
I was thinking the same thing. Because some of those intakes are L-shaped for both 4cyl and 6cyl. But like almost 100%, they are different.

they are totally diffrent. The 4cyl accords have the intake feeding into the left side of the engine bay (standing in front of it). all thats inside the fenderwell is the resonator box for the intake. However, for the V6, the intake goes into the right side fender, and its shaped diffrently, and the piping is all *** backwards.
We had a customer bring in a 4cyl intake for his v6, and it didnt work. they look really close when you see it on the floor, but they dont work for both.
