I think a user on HT wants to sell me his JDM halft shaft for a b16a2. I will be using it on an EK chassis with a b18b engine and EM1 axles. will this work?

 

Just found out it's a 98 itr jdm spec half shaft. Will it work with my chassis/setup?

 

Those are hydro and your axles are hydro so yep itll work.

even with it being a "JDM ITR" spec? I thought there was some type of incompatibility with JDM axles and half shaft.

 

not that i know of. i have a jdm b16 swap and i use aftermarket axles i buy from a parts store in my hometown.

 

Did you guys read my 2nd post? It's not a JDM B16 halfshaft. It's a JDM ITR. Same? Different?

 

the JDM ITR have 36mm hubs....don't buy them!

 

this is not the whole axle setup, just the JDM ITR HALFSHAFT.

I guess I just need to know if it's different from other USDM HALFSHAFTS.

 

There is no difference in the halfshaft/intermediate shaft. All Hydro B series are the same.

if its a b16a2 half shaft its not a JDM because its american then if it was a b16a it would be JDM
