Default rear disk upgrade, now soft pedal...what do i need to fix?

i switched the rear drums to disks on my 95 hatch from a 94 integra...
the pedal has become much softer than before and requires quite a bit
of force to get the brakes goin....
what do i need to improve this feel? booster and m/c? or maybe just
a proportioning valve...need some suggestions

rebleed the system it sounds like you still have air in it. Start at the rr,lf,lr,rf bleed each one with a hose into a clear container with brake fluid in the bottom until all bubbles are gone and fluid is clear. Make sure and keep the M/C topped off with fluid

You will probably want to get a 15/16" master cylinder and a 4040 prop valve.

I'm not sure if those will help pedal feel but will more than likely make the brakes work better.

As mentioned above bleed the brakes lines. I did a similar swap on my car and after bleeding them the brakes work like a champ. Read the manual on the proper way to bleed the brakes.

Yeah bleeding them will def. help. I think you only need the stuff I listed if you do the bigger front calipers also. With just the rears you should be fine with your stock stuff but if it doesn't improve with just a bleeding of the lines try replacing the MC and the prop valve.

Pump the brakes with the key off. If the pedal still feels mushy and doesn't get hard as hell, you need to bleed the brakes.
