Though i have no where near the money to do cams, it would be my next mod. I was wondering the same thing. I know the todas are good, and depending on how crazy you wanna get. How are the toda A's? Are they even worth getting. If I got toda cams I think the B's might be right, but I really haven't heard or read anything on the A's.

Also, I've heard good things about the new skunk cams. Anyone have positive/negative reports on these.

Other than these two brands, I've heard JUN is good too, but I think if I went that far, I'd just stick with todas.

So do the skunks measure up at all to todas? And are Toda A's good at all? And is there any reason to go with a JUN cam over a toda cam?

Are cams and vavle springs interchangeable between all B18 series engines or even all B-series engines

skunk2 stage 1's are a nice drop in cam that produce very good power on a stock valvetrain --- if youre going to leave the valvetrain stock, or do minimal valvetrain work, id get stage 1. i beleive stage 2 requires upgraded valvetrain immediately.

Actually aren't the Skunk stage 2 a clone of the Jun3? The stage 3 might be closer to a Toda C

skunk2 stage 2 cams are identical to jun 3. i seen the skunk stage 3 dyno over@skunk and it made 10whp more over the stage2's and jun 3's............

When you talk about valvetrain, we're talking springs and retainers right? What else do you need to upgrade your valvetrain?

I hear todas are good all around for Autocrossing and Road racing, but they are expensive. However if you want drag racing cams get Skunk2 Stage 3. They are by far the most bang for the buck.
