Default interchangable h & f series..

for the most part upon me being here i have heard time and time again various parts between the h & f series are interchangable..the question is : would the intake manifold (by skunk2) for the h22 fit the f22? let me know and thank you.

I don't see why not. I know that you can bolt up the H23 mani to the f22, so I would think that the h22 would work too. Then again, I could be completely wrong.

No, it won't fit.

The H22 head has a different flange than the H23 or F22. If you find an H23 manifold (not likely) then that will fit the F22 head.

H and F series blocks are the same (with exception of the F20C S2000 engines), but the heads are what's different.

why is it "not likely"?

Also, the H23A1 and F22A6 intake manifolds are almost the exact same. I think the H23A1 has a large plenum but I believe thats about it.

He was asking about the Skunk2 manifold which is an aftermarket manifold. The chances of finding a comparable manifold to the Skunk2 for the H23 are non-existent because nobody makes one. That's why.

I didn't know there were any F's with the dual stage IM, that's pretty cool.

What's different about the actual block? I realize that things like sleeves and internals are different, but is the block casting not the same?

I'm clearly just trying to help the guy, so why do you guys feel the need to pick apart my post?

ah, ok, the way I read that was you were saying it's not likely to find a H23 IM. Which of course I didn't understand because it's not like H23 IM's are rare or something

yep, the F22A6 IM has the dual runner setup.
