Default should i take this offer???

i found a guy who is selling his auto shop in a few weeks so he is trying to sell all the stuff he has for cheap... he offered me a del sol motor with tranny and installed for 400 bucks.. should i take the deal? i need a new motor anyways. let me knwo if its a good deal.

There are diffrent Del Sol motors.

i think its a 1.6L out of a 94 del sol with stock del sol tranny and it has 70,000 miles on the motor and 45,000 on the tranny

well if its a 1.6 singlecam i wouldnt do it.. but if hes selling u the 1.6 dohc vtec (b16) i would pick it up right now..

If you need a new motor anyway, then you are probably never gonna find a better deal than that (assuming it actually works correctly).

Low milage motor that runs put in for that money who cares what it is.

If it dose have such low mileage why was the tranny replaced already ? thats one question Id be sure to ask but for 400 bucks Id pick it up. Worst came to worst you could just resell it
