Default not looking for sympathy

last night i pulled my car around and parked it in back of the garage. nothing new, i have been doing this for the past few months. to my surprise i come out this morning and the car is gone! i flipped out immediately punching holes in the neighbors fence. i couldnt belive that my pride and joy, my most prized possesion my teal 91 civc si, had been ripped from my life. well after filing a police report i realized that a little over a year ago my car had been stolen from the front of my house. the first time only the wheels had been taken which were only stock integra gs so it wasnt a big deal. my windshield was also smashed and the hood a little dinged up from them trying to steal the hood. other then that it was fine. at that time my car was completely stock besides the wheels. this time was different. here the list of what i had this time.
- rebuilt b16 with ctr pistons, type r rods and crank
- stage 2 PNP with skunk2 stage 2 cams and cam gears
- rebuilt S1 trans
- skunk2 race coilovers camber kit all the way around.
- cusco upper an lower tie bars
- suspension techniques f/r swar bars
- function 7 lcas
- greddy header and skunk2 exhaust
- fuel pump cut off switch
- car was just tuned a week ago and dynoed at 208 hrs
plus lots of odds and ends added throughout the past year. now do i stick it out and rebuild if i recieve the shell or do i say screw it and forget about the jdm lifestyle. i love that car and nothing can ever replace the time, money, and effort that made my car what it was. i only feel that if i build again it will be taken again. it had a cut off switch, it had an alarm. what can i do to prevent this from happening again? usually my car is garaged but my roomate is getting his motor rebuilt for his jetta so i dont know when ill get the garage back.

what is a stage 2 PNP?

also... how did you use the type R crank and rods in the B16 block?

just curious. sucks about your car. was it stolen or towed? if you want people to help you find it, a little more info than, "teal hatch" would be needed.

sucks dude sorry to hear about the car. Someone had to know about the car then not very many people are smart enough to look for the fuel pup cutoff switch if the car dont start. And definatly post up pics of it, so if someone sees it in your area they can let you know about it etc. The best thing to do is just spread the word. R.I.P Ef hatchy.

port and polish and i used ctr b16b internals not b18c5 type r sorry for the confussion. im thinking it was towed since you have to lift the back saet a little bit to reach the cut off switch. im not asking people to help me find it. that car is in a million pieces right now. my friends 2000 si was found in a field an hour away from here comlpletely stripped and cut in 3 peices. that is probably my car right now.

Did it look like it had been dragged away?

Only thing I'd figure is they broke into it and got the column loose...then got it far enough away to fix the fuel switch problem while not around or something.....
honda door locks and igntions can be worked loose if you have a few keys....

I would put a switch somewhere that cuts all power to the ecu like a micro switch hidden somewhere you can get to it but no one would ever see it.

And listen to your alarm....get a paging one lay it next to your bed ....oh and keep bat handy

just went to the tow lot to take a look. its not as bad as i thought. no motor, trans, ecu etc. also no interior at all. the dash is there but other than that not much. body is ok other than the hatch being smashed in and glass broken out. appears to have been hit from behind. good news is that all of my suspension stuff is still there except my upper strut bars. ill post pics tomorrow when i get the car out of the lot. anyone want an ef hatch?

we'll dude that suck completely. was the cut off hidden or easy to find? I think the jetta should have been pushed out. It would be pointless to steal a jetta with no motor. We'll hope you find it in one pice. Don't give up if you love the car.
