i thought i overtightened the nut so i loosened it and now its stripped any idea how to get the nut off? if either the nut of stud is stripped? please help

 

if the nut is stripped you should be able to take it off as long as u keep pressure upward on it while you spin it off. if the stud is stripped, i was told you could just put two nuts back to back on it and back it out. or take it to the dealership like i did. they did it for free, but it woulda been like $50.
